Membership
Our membership at the moment stands at 160 and this is individuals, clubs and associations. If you would like to apply for affiliation to the Perth and Kinross Sports Council then you can download a detailed application form, which includes details of the 2006 Accord for the Protection of Children in Scottish Sport.
However, to be a member and to be eligible for a grant, you have to have a child protection policy and officer in your club and also have to be a member of PACES or have the equivalent. PACES has been designed to be user friendly and helpful to voluntary sports clubs that are motivated by strong values. Quality and continuous improvement are importance in sports clubs which are well-known for their drive to change things for the better. PACES seeks to reflect the values created by the voluntary sports club sector and give practical tools to help clubs improve what they do.
